How it works
Baker presses the button
When a fresh batch of baguettes or croissants comes out of the oven, the baker presses a small internet-connected button.
You get a ping
Bread-y sends a push notification to everyone nearby or following that bakery. Fresh bread, incoming.
Everyone wins
You show up happy with warm bread. Bakeries waste less and sell more. The neighborhood smells amazing.

FAQ
- When is the app launching?
- We’re running a small pilot in Nice, France starting early 2026. If it goes well, we’ll expand to more cities.
- Is it free?
- For users, always free. For bakeries, the pilot is free. We’ll figure out a fair pricing model later.
- How does the button work?
- It’s a small internet-connected device — think a big, satisfying button. The baker presses it when a batch comes out, and followers get notified instantly. No app required on the bakery side.
- Which cities?
- Starting with Nice. Nominate a bakery in your city and we’ll know where to expand next.
